Open Mic
London's first OPEN MIC for young people. Run by Subtext Young Person's Committee, in partnership with Rich Mix. Frontline guest artists are invited to perform, and these have so far included CRISIS, JME, SHORTman, Faith SFX. and NY.
The event attracts young Londoners from mixed backgrounds as both audience and artists, and provides a safe environment for them to perform to their peers and practice their acts.

The planned Open Mics for January, March, and May 2008, have had to be cancelled due to the cut in our Arts Council regular funding. But we expect to resume them later in the year when can secure new funding for them.
