Think Out Loud

Think Out Loud was a free performance event from the spoken poets of the future - Slambassadors and New Slambassadors. Through rap, hip-hop, MCs, the spoken word, and poetry, young artists expressed their innovative take on the world. It was a combination of talent from six months of workshops run by Subtext and facilitated by Joelle Taylor from the Poetry Society.

Some of the Slambassadors who started out in small projects with subtext are now running their own workshops and events, and have performed at The Globe, the Vigil for the bombing Victims at Trafalgar Square, Blue Peter BBC, the Imax National Poetry Day, Respect Slam, Respect Festival, The Dome, Whitechapel Art Gallery and South Bank.

Think out Loud was organised by Subtext in conjunction with the Poetry Society, and held at the Rich Mix Centre, Bethnal Green
